Baby Brennon's Newborn Session

Baby Brennon was 1 month old yesterday...I can't believe how fast the time goes! I am just trying to enjoy every moment. I honestly just sit and stare at him because I don't want to miss anything and I want to remember everything! That is why I am so thankful for photos...we often forget just how tiny babies are! Anyway these were taken when Brennon was almost 3 weeks old. A BIG thank you to my Mom and Sister for helping with this session. My hardest subject is my Adison...I have taken her photo so many times now that she won't look at the camera...she will smile, but she is almost always looking away. She did a pretty good job at this session thanks to her favorite cousin Macie...thank goodness Macie knew Hannah Montana songs!

On another note, I know how I have mentioned that Brennon is a miracle baby..but I wanted to share just a little more information that I have learned about his condition. He had what is called a "True Knot" umbilical chord...I found out this only happens in 1% of pregnancies and his chord was also wrapped two times around his neck...this only happens in 5% of pregnancies. So you can see why I call him my Miracle Baby. We are just so thankful that everything turned out perfect with him...we give God all of the praise!

Now here is our precious Baby Brennon!

Introducing....Brennon Heath!

Wow! It has been awhile, but a lot has went on. Baby Brennon Heath was born on August 24th. He is such a sweet little baby! He was named after my Mom and myself. My Mom's name is Brenda..so that is where the Bren came from and of course Heath is from my name. We both had a rough start but are on the mends. For some reason, I have big babies...which makes for rough deliveries. This one ended with a forceps delivery. To make matters worse, Brennon was born with his umbilical cord wrapped two times around his neck and with what they call a "True Knot" in his cord. They said this was very rare and that a lot of babies do not make it when it is like this...so they were calling him a miracle baby! I am just so thankful that he was okay. Praise be unto the Lord! And finally I had a complication with my epidural. I had spinal headaches from it that lasted 8 days! So painful! But doing much better now. Finally feeling like I am getting back to somewhat normal. Thanks to everyone for the calls and emails checking on us both. I appreciate it! Now here is Mr. Brennon Heath!
